Mount Carmel West Hospital was facing demolition. Our client’s purchase spared one four-story medical building that sat on the larger campus.
Fortuity, a contact center operations company, desired to make a positive macroeconomic impact on the Franklinton neighborhood by transforming the surviving structure into a multi-function location, where high-potential, inner-city residents could find gainful employment, all easily accessible via public transit. This would require a complete interior and exterior renovation.
Because it resonated with our commitments to community empowerment and building for people, we were proud to help Fortuity offer inner-city neighborhood residents new and better opportunities, practical support, and training. At this renovated Broad Street building in Franklinton, someone with neither a college degree nor relevant experience can achieve upward social mobility.
Renovation work included enclosing the ground-floor parking garage and designing a space flexible enough for an assortment of future developments. We also crafted spaces for training rooms, medical offices, and a contact center.
